Miss L is a kitten magnet!

The latest is the little Tux Female, came out of the shrubbery last week at our complex pool, no one has claimed her yet, a sweet little cat with a kinked tail, hence her name XinXi = Kinky. Looking for a home as she brings up the feline count to 5!
The handsome ginger brute is Einstein, who is growing to become a very likeable cat, except for his penchant to keep jumping the gate!

My daughter now thinks she is a kitten magnet.

Meet Einstein

Hey... you are big Amber!
Now where you going Amber?

I'm small and cute!
Einstein was the only survivor of three kitties found in a box last Saturday by L on her way to visit her cousins... How anyone can do this is quite beyond my comprehension!
Now L has a new kitty to raise again, she has a knack with them I must say.
He is a clever little chap hence the name. Amber and Duchess have accepted him rather quickly, Myoo is spitting mad it seems.

Kitty arrives spitting mad

This kitty arrived last night... Sometimes it is better to let a cornered cat be...so I spent part of the night on the couch until Kitty decided to move under the bed!

I hope we can get Kitty re united with the owner/s.
The cat is very traumatized it seems, wish they could tell us what happens and that they can understand that we mean no harm.
UPDATE!
Kitty's name is Julie and she is back safe with her owner! Amazing to see how she transformed from Devil Cat to Angel Cat when her momma spoke to her. She had been raised by hand from day 2 so her human momma is her momma! I love happy endings!

Our trapeze artist is in heaven

Sadly little Misha was hit by a car today and died in L's arms. Not how we planned the day at all.
We will miss her terribly.

Misha... the trapeze artist

This is what I found when I walked in after work... Misha the Trapeze Artist busy taking down the laundry!

She is L's kitten that was raised from barely eyes open stage... abandoned by her mother we think, but even though she is small for 6 months old she is one bundle of energy...
By the way... this is a cat that 2 days ago had to go to the vet for two wounds in her side... not sure what happened but we suspect it was either from clambering somehere impossible or getting roughhoused by Myoo accidentally... she may be small but is not afraid to have very rough wrestling matches with the other cats.
By the way... most of the clutter on the floor is some form of Misha plaything...
Must say I am surprised at how well she is taking the antibiotics though... the other 3 are impossible to give any form of pill... last time I tried I almost ended up in ICU like this fella!

Hot water bottles

The Man says he does not need a hot water bottles at night because he has Three Mousketeers to keep him warm! That's me top centre in my usual pose, Amber is on the left and Lilly on the right...

Belly up

This is Lilly showing off her pink belly and the stiches from her visit to the Kittyvet... she is much better today but when she got back last night she was spitting mad at the Man... she will be glad she took the trip in the Boxthing though, too many kitties get born that never find good homes like me and she did...
She also has her own MyVet tag on her collar, just in case we get lost.

First evening

Hi, got taken home in a blue Mini! My new home is quite big, fresh sandbox and my own bowls of water milkies and friskies! Did some exploring and fell asleep on my new owners lap... Just hope he does not take pictures of all I do!

Myoo's home on te web

See the M on that cute face? Myoo is my kitten, she will soon be posting her view of the Blue Spot when she moves in on Sunday... Her name comes from various sources, µ is the mathematical symbol for the Greek letter M or Mu, pronounced "myoo", here is more on the meanings of Mu or Myoo... born 19/07/2004

Mu - taken from a Japanese tea ceremony scroll this calligraphy figure is the Chinese character Mu. Mu is a Zen koan. Mu is the nothingness that is the universe. Mu is the lack of self that is shared by all things. Mu unasks questions. In the hinge of the heyiya-if there is Mu. µ M

1. (character) Mu - (Greek letter).
1. /micro/ prefix denoting division by 10^6, e.g. mu m (micrometre, a millionth part of a metre). Sometimes written as a 'u', the ASCII character nearest in appearance.
2. /myoo/ In the theory of functions, mu x . E denotes the least value of x for which E = x, i.e. the least fixed point of the function \ x . E. The recursive function mu f . H f satisfies (and is defined by) the equation
mu f . H f = H (mu f . H f)
An alternative notation for the same function is
fix H = H (fix H)
See fixed point combinator.
3. multiple value.

4. (networking) mu - The country code for Mauritius.
4. (philosophy) mu - /moo/ The correct answer to the classic trick question "Have you stopped beating your wife yet?". Assuming that you have no wife or you have never beaten your wife, the answer "yes" is wrong because it implies that you used to beat your wife and then stopped, but "no" is worse because it suggests that you have one and are still beating her. According to various Discordians and Douglas Hofstadter the correct answer is usually "mu", a Japanese word alleged to mean "Your question cannot be answered because it depends on incorrect assumptions".
Hackers tend to be sensitive to logical inadequacies in language, and many have adopted this suggestion with enthusiasm. The word "mu" is actually from Chinese, meaning "nothing"; it is used in mainstream Japanese in that sense, but native speakers do not recognise the Discordian question-denying use. It almost certainly derives from over generalisation of the answer in the following well-known Rinzei Zen teaching riddle:
A monk asked Joshu, "Does a dog have the Buddha nature?" Joshu retorted, "Mu!"
[Douglas Hofstadter, "Gödel, Escher, Bach: An Eternal Golden Braid"].
