this is an awesome remix of Matthew Parkers great song "I am Yours"
Thank you
Here, here I am
Take my hand and fill me with your spirit, Lord
I am yours
And I'll do what you command
Coz I am yours, I am yours
Here I am, Lord
I am yours
There's nothing that I'd rather do then follow you
You bought me with your blood and I belong to you
Here I am, all of me, I give myself completely, Lord
Take my hand, I want to be, wholly, wholly, wholly yours
Here, here I am
Take my hand and fill me with your spirit, Lord
Here, here I am
Take my hand and fill me with your spirit, Lord
I am yours
And I'll do what you command
Coz I am yours, I am yours
Here I am, Lord
I am yours

Free music... I must be dreaming!
But do yourself the favor and check out Jamedo... there is some great stuff there like this one from Epic Soul Factory. After watching Daniel Lopez's videos I went to their page at Jamelo and was amazed at their repertoire... well worth listening to. Click on the start button!
A host of genres is available and I must say I have only sampled a few but not one was bad so far...
Give it a try.

Surrender To Someday - Electric Armageddon
Surrender To Someday - Electric Armageddon
This is from local Bloemfontein group Surrender To Someday... and I hope they become international soon. The songs are all amazing, just buy the album Crown Paper Kings!
UPDATE!
I have listened to the whole CD after getting hold of one for the princely sum of R50.
Most of the tracks have an EPIC instrumental intro, this is something that is so often overlooked in modern music, after 4 notes the vocals usually begin. STS have managed to spotlight their musical abilities as well as the vocals by using this technique to brilliant effect! Well done guys!

Seriously cool yet hillariously brilliant!
The new music video from OK Go, made in partnership with Chevrolet. OK Go set up over 1000 instruments over two miles of desert outside Los Angeles. A Chevy Sonic was outfitted with retractable pneumatic arms designed to play the instruments, and the band recorded this version of Needing/Getting, singing as they played the instrument array with the car. The video took 4 months of preparation and 4 days of shooting and recording. There are no ringers or stand-ins; Damian took stunt driving lessons. Each piano had the lowest octaves tuned to the same note so that they'd play the right note no matter where they were struck. For more information and to download the studio version of the song for free, visit http://www.LetsDoThis.com/stunts and http://www.okgo.net. Many thanks to Chevy for believing in and supporting such an insane and ambitious project, and to Gretsch for providing the guitars and amps.

When the world falls apart...
When the world falls apart,
I will hold you in my arms like a friend!
Great song with a lot of meaning, especially when we have a friend like Jesus! I know it is not a gospel song as such but when I heard it for the first time and then found the lyrics it was another of those songs with hidden meaning. Thank you Jeffrey Sutorius, aka Dash Berlinfor making great Dance music that still has meaning.
When the world falls apart,
I will hold you in my arms like a friend!
When the worlds unkind,
I will make you smile,
I will stay right by your side until the end!
Through the dark of night,
When no hopes in sight
When the walls start closing in,
I'll be your friend!
When the world falls apart,
If you should ever feel so broken that you can't go on,
When your world falls apart,
I will hold you in my arms like a friend.
Until the end...
When the world falls apart,
If you should ever feel so broken that you can't go on,
When your world falls apart,
I will hold you in my arms like a friend.
Till the end x 4
When the world makes you cry,
I will make you smile,
I will stay right by your side until the end!
Through the dark of night,
When no hopes inside
When the walls start closing in,
I'll be your friend!
If the world falls apart,
I will hold you in my arms like a friend!
Till the end...x 2

Waiting...
Angelic Voice par excellence... this song blows my socks off!
Fading of the day
as night takes over
and I can almost feel
you here
Your memory remains
I breath it closer
I swear that I still feel you near
The cool wind is taking over
it’s taking over
So far away
you’re gone so long
ohh and I’m waiting
Till that day
I take you home
know that I’m waiting
know that I’m waiting
know that I’m waiting
Haunted by your grace
you know I’m falling
so cool without you
always in my mind
I hear you calling
Haunted by your grace
you know I’m falling
so cool without you
always in my mind
I hear you calling
So far away
you’re gone so long
ohh and I’m waiting
So far away
you’re gone so long
ohh and I’m waiting
Till that day
I take you home
know that I’m waiting
know that I’m waiting
Haunted by your grace
the beauty of falling (falling)
it echoes through my days
I still hear you calling
you calling me
The cool wind is taking over
it’s taking over
still your
so far away
you’re gone so long
ohh and I’m waiting
Till that day
I take you home
know that I’m waiting
So far away
you’re gone so long
ohh and I’m waiting

The music on this track is just amazing but to put it in proper perspective here is the acoustic version, Emma's voice still remains angelic.
Emma has one of the most amazing voices on the Dance/Trance scene, I bet she would be able to make it in any genre as well. In the meantime I will continue to listen to this music as well as most other genres. I love music!

Lifebook
Strange how one thing leads to another...
It started with a link to this amazing video of the Grimsvotn eruption in Iceland.
Of course I had to find out what "Lífsbókin" means and that got me googled to the amazing idea of the Gideons at Lifebook Movement... Go there and download your own copy of this book/bible written as an outreach to kids of today, you may just be amazed to learn something new!
This "trip" across the internet also showed me something else as well that is so true of my life and many other Christians lives. I have experienced many amazing things, gone through many trails and survived because in the end I have come to depend on The Life Book that God provided for us. Thank you Father for putting things in place for us to be able to get to know you through the Bible, translated and printed in virtually every language known, this to me is another proof that you want everyone saved.
Thank you God that we can enjoy the world we live in as well and gaze in awe at your works.
By the way, here are the lyrics in Icelandic, when I get the english I will add them too.
Lífsbókin by BERGþóRA ÁRNADóTTIR
Ljúktu nú upp lífsbókinni
lokaðu ekki sálina inni.
Leyfðu henni í ljóði og myndum,
leika ofar hæstu tindum.
Svipta burtu svikahulu.
Syngja aftur gamla þulu
líta bæði ljós og skugga,
langa til að bæta og hugga.
Breyta þeim sem böli valda
breyta stríði margra alda.
Breyta þeim sem lygin lamar,
leiða vit og krafta framar.
Gull og metorð gagna ekki
gangir þú með sálarhlekki.
Found two more renditions of the song, I love the Icelandic Airforce Choir version too..
and this one by Ragnheiður Gröndal...
Blogging is also a form of Lifebook like a diary come to think of it...

The wonders like You
Who is like You?
Who is like the wonders, the wonders, the wonders, the wonders of You?
From alpha to Omega
No Ones greater
While your cutting the wax
And cross up the fader
You can cross the fade
But can't fade the cross
Divine blood drops
Can set free the lost
Love personified
Makes seas divide
Eyes of the storm
Of the tempest ride
Who can compare
Who can dare to stare in the eyes of the Most High and die
Often imitated
Never duplicated
Only One original
Underrated
Perfect in ways in which we could be
Others like Him
Never will be
Ancient of days
In mysterious ways
Works wonders
Setting bushes a blaze
40 years in a maze
With a pillar of fire
Dancing on waves
My life's desire
Who is like you
Who was, is and will be
Who can do what you can do simply?
He who has an ear, let him hear
Speaking through the speaker to your ears
Is my transmission clear?
I have nothing to add... but this...

Here on Earth
Missing you...
Tiësto feat. Cary Brothers - Here On Earth
And the sun has fallen, and the backbeat's telling truths
That you want to hear, and you want to hear again
And the closer that you get, with the force of all the weight
And it's also clear, do you want to feel her
Want to feel her, want to feel her
For as long as you are, here on this earth
I feel alive
For as long as you are, here on this earth
I feel alive
And you take your time, because we've got all night
Saturday or nothing, we can do what we want
I'm a sucker for your game, it's the way you tease
And it's so unreal, when we touch the ceiling
For as long as you are, here on this earth
I feel alive
For as long as you are, here on this earth
I feel alive
Make it so, it shakes your heart
Nice and slow, but can you let it go
And you feel life fall away, and you have no fear
And you let it go, just let it go
And you feel life fall away, and you have no fear
Can you let it go, let it go
For as long as you are, here on this earth
I feel alive
Feel alive, feel alive, feel alive, feel alive
Feel alive, feel alive, feel alive, feel alive
DJ Tiësto has always been a favorite of mine but I think he has outdone himself with Kaleidoscope, must try and get hold of it. It has some very laid back tracks for Trance... the Nelly Furtado track is brilliant!
So while MD is up in Ganstaparadise I will do some music catching up to share with her when she gets back.

Maximum Exodus
Sometimes music can really stir one's soul, especially if the performer is putting his heart and soul into the piece... watch and feel the goosebumps. There is quite a few of Maxim Mrvica's performances on YouTube, try and watch them all, you will be enthralled.
Of course the music brings back childhood memory's of drive in movies with my parents and brothers, where I remember hearing this music of Ernest Gold for the first time in the movie Exodus. Andy Williams wrote moving lyrics as well...
Exodus:
This land is mine
God gave this land to me
This brave and ancient land to me
And when the morning sun
Reveals her hills and plains
Then I see a land
Where children can run free
So take my hand
And walk this land with me
A nd walk this lovely land with me
*Tho'I am just a man
When you are by my side
With the help of God
I know I can be strong
(Repeat *)
To make this land our home
If I must fight, I'll fight
To make this land our own
Until I die, this land is mine
I remember that the movie made quite an impression on me and has probably influenced my feelings for the land of Israel. As a Christian I am even more convinced of the need for us to pray for the Holy Land God gave to the Jewish people.
"The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob."
Exodus, 3. 15

Above All
Above all powers, above all kings
Above all nature and all created things
Above all wisdom and all the ways of man
You were here before the world began
Above all kingdoms, above all thrones
Above all wonders the world has ever known
Above all wealth and treasures of the earth
There's no way to measure what you're worth
Crucified
Laid behind a stone
You lived to die
Rejected and alone
Like a rose
Trampled on the ground
You took the fall
And thought of me
Above all
John 3:16
For God So loved the world that, He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

The Reason
The reason why I can only fall on my knees and whisper... Thank You Lord...
When I saw this on YouTube I knew what day to post it on... I wonder if the writers ever thought that the song could describe how I feel about what Jesus did for us on the Cross...
Hoobastank : The Reason Lyrics
Songwriters: Estrin, Daniel; Hesse, Chris; Lappalainen, Markku; Robb, Douglas;
I'm not a perfect person
There's many things I wish I didn't do
But I continue learning
I never meant to do those things to you
And so I have to say before I go
That I just want you to know
I've found out a reason for me
To change who I used to be
A reason to start over new
and the reason is you
I'm sorry that I hurt you
It's something I must live with everyday
And all the pain I put you through
I wish that I could take it all away
And be the one who catches all your tears
Thats why i need you to hear
I've found out a reason for me
To change who I used to be
A reason to start over new
and the reason is You
and the reason is You [x3]

Para mi amor
I miss you like the desert's miss the rain...
Where do you go to my lovely...
Please don't go... you're the only Angel I know...
Just some songs from No Mercy that help pass the time while MD is away in Johannesburg... The guitar playing of this group always makes me wish I could! The notes seem to tug at my heart...
Especially after our trip to Argentina I have gotten very fond of Latina music, particularly the ones from South and North America, they have a vibrancy and energy that is contagious.
So until mi amor is back I will console myself with music and doing some solo riding on the bike...
I found this amusing quote that sums up how things have gone the last few days as fitting in with the title of the first song...
"Either I've been missing something or nothing has been going on." Karen Elizabeth Gordon

In my arms
Kylie, once again making hit material. She has grown as a performer and a person over the years... one of my all time favourites and not just because of her looks either. Her fortitude shown when she was diagnosed with cancer was amazing, I believe the positive outlook she had has been inspiring for women suffering from the same illness. One tough lady!
Here are the lyrics...
Kylie Minogue - In my arms
How do you describe a feeling?
I’ve only ever dreamt of this.
DJ’s spinning up my favorite song,
Hurry up and get a grove on.
Light fantastic and it won’t be long,
Don’t let the moment slip away.
‘Cause you and I could find a pleasure, no one else has ever known.
Feels like it is now or never, don’t want to be alone
How does it feel in my arms?
How does it feel in my arms?
Do you want it?
Do you need it?
Can you feel it?
Tell me.
How does it feel in my arms?
Got a feeling this is something strong.
All I wanna do is move on.
No more wondering where I belong.
So never go away.
‘Cause you and I are guilty pleasure, no one else has ever known.
Feels like it is now or never, don’t want to be alone.
How does it feel in my arms?
How does it feel in my arms?
Do you want it?
Do you need it?
Can you feel it?
Tell me.
How does it feel in my arms?
Do-do-do-do-do
Do-do-do-do-do
Do-do-do-do-do
Oh yeah, yeah
Do-do-do-do-do
Do-do-do-do-do
Do-do-do-do-do
Oh yeah, yeah
I’m listening.
How does it feel in my arms?
(How does it feel in my arms?)
How does it feel in my arms?
Yeah, yeah.
Do you want it?
Do you need it?
Can you feel it?
Tell me.
How does it feel in my arms?
This song reminds me of MD... I am glad I could hold her in my arms today and take some of the pain away.

Tell me.

The night is my companion
[via FoxyTunes / Sarah McLachlan - Possesion]
Went to bed and started listening to some music compiled for our first date to drown out the sound of the fans outside and this song caught my ear so I had to put it up for US...
Listen as the wind blows
from across the great divide,
Voices trapped in yearning,
memories trapped in time,
The night is my companion
and solitude my guide,
Would I spend forever here
and not be satisfied,
And I would be the one
to hold you down,
kiss you so hard,
I'll take your breath away
and after I'd wipe away the tears,
Just close your eyes dear
Through this world I've stumbled
so many times betrayed,
Trying to find an honest word,
to find the truth enslaved,
Oh you speak to me in riddles and
you speak to me in rhymes
My body aches to breathe your breath,
your words keep me alive,
And I would be the one
to hold you down,
kiss you so hard,
I'll take your breath away
and after I'd wipe away the tears,
Just close your eyes dear
Into this night I wander,
it's morning that I dread,
Another day of knowing of
the path I fear to tread,
Oh into the sea of waking dreams
I follow without pride,
Nothing stands between us here
and I won't be denied,
And I would be the one
to hold you down,
kiss you so hard,
I'll take your breath away
and after I'd wipe away the tears,
Just close your eyes dear...
I am still amazed by it all... you take my breath away... and you are the one...
Hopefully the beginning of year madness will soon level out to an acceptable pace and let me get some time to blog as well... I have a head full of stuff...

Faces
Pour me some wine, join me tonight
Surround me with your happy faces
Share some fun stories, stay up all night
Sorround me with your friendly faces
Then look at me, when I'm not aware
Then you'll see, I cannot do without you
I'll be right there, if you ask me to
If you're feeling sad, I'll stay with you
And if you're scared, I'll hold your hand
Like I know you'd do for me too, like I know
You'd do for me too
Pour me some wine, join me tonight
Life is so good when I'm with you
I needed the laughs, I needed you tonight
So look at me, when I'm not aware
Then you'll see, I cannot do without you
I'll be right there, if you ask me to
If you're feeling sad, I'll stay with you
And if you're scared, I'll hold your hand
Like I know you'd do for me too.
I'll be right there, if you ask me to
If you're feeling sad, I'll stay with you
And if you're scared, I'll hold your hand
Like I know you'd do for me too.
Lene has been one of my favourites ever since "Unforgivable Sinner", another Angelic Voice. This song of hers reminds me of all the faces I know, each one is important as the person behind it is precious to me in some way or another. Her voice has always had a soothing effect on my soul, just what I needed after another monday back at work.

Ecstacy
This posting has been in draft for like forever and today all the peices came together to make a perfect picture...
Ecstacy is the state I am in at present and when you look up the Wikipedia on the word you get;
Ecstacy smay mean:
Ecstasy (emotion), a trance or trance like state in which an individual transcends normal consciousness
Religious ecstasy, a changed state of consciousness characterized by expanded spiritual awareness, visions or absolute euphoria
Ecstasy (philosophy), a term used to mean "outside-of-itself"
MDMA, a recreational drug sold under the street name "ecstasy".
MS Ecstasy, a cruise ship in the Carnival Cruise Lines fleet
In the arts:
Ecstasy (album), an album title shared by multiple artists
Ecstasy (film) (1933), a Czech film starring Hedy Lamarr and directed by Gustav Machaty
Ecstasy: Three Tales of Chemical Romance, a collection of three novellas by Irvine Welsh
Ecstasy (2007 film), based on the third novella, The Undefeated
Ecstasy (play), a 1979 play by Mike Leigh
Ecstasy (song), a 2004 song by ATB
"Ecstasy", a song by New Order from their 1983 album Power, Corruption & Lies
"Ecstasy", a song by the Cleveland rap group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony from their album BTNHResurrection
"Ecstasy", a song by Lou Reed
"Ecstasy", a song by VAST from their album Turquoise & Crimson
"The Ecstasy of Gold", a song from film The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly, also used by the band Metallica
"Ecstasy", a song by Megadeth from the 1999 album Risk
Extasy Records, a record label
"Religious ecstasy is an altered state of consciousness characterized by greatly reduced external awareness and expanded interior mental and spiritual awareness which is frequently accompanied by visions and emotional/intuitive (and sometimes physical) euphoria. Although the experience is usually brief in physical time[1], there are records of such experiences lasting several days or even more, and of recurring experiences of ecstasy during one's lifetime. Subjective perception of time, space and/or self may strongly change or disappear during ecstasy."
"Ecstasy (from the Greek έκστασις, to be outside oneself (ancient Greek: εξίστημι (existimi) meaning stand outside where εξ (ex) means out as in exit)) is a category of altered states of consciousness or trance like states in which an individual transcends ordinary consciousness and as a result has a heightened capacity for exceptional thought, intense concentration on a specific task, extraordinary physical abilities or intense emotional experience. This heightened capacity is typically accompanied by diminished awareness of some other matters. For instance, if one is concentrating on a physical task, then one might cease to be aware of any intellectual thoughts. On the other hand, making a spirit journey in an ecstatic trance involves the cessation of voluntary bodily movement. Subjective perception of time, space and/or self may strongly change or disappear during ecstasy."
"Ecstasy, (or ekstasis) from the Ancient Greek, έκ-στασις (ex-stasis)," to be or stand outside oneself, a removal to elsewhere (from ex-: out, and stasis: a stand, or a standoff of forces).
It is used in philosophy usually to mean outside-of-itself'." One's consciousness, for example, is not self-enclosed, one can be conscious of an Other person, who falls well outside of one's own self. In a sense, consciousness is usually, "outside of itself," in that its object (what it thinks about, or perceives) is not itself."
Yep looking at that lot I have to say the first three are applicable in my life to varying degrees, that I am more aware of a lot of things these days and calling it a state of ecstasy is pretty accurate. I just have an ecstatic sense of joy in my life and if this is what it is like because I am so sure of where I fit in in the scheme of things then ecstasy is a close second for heaven. I just have this knowing that whatever I wish can be attained when I apply myself. Then I found the video today when I played the song and pushed FoxyTunes to fetch the info. (Video may be blocked by some workplaces)
Have you ever noticed,
That I'm not acting as I used to do before?
Have you ever wondered,
Why I always keep on coming back for more?
What have you done to me,
I'll never be the same I'll tell you for sure
I'll never be the same I'll tell you for sure
I'll never be the same I'll tell you for sure
You really are my ecstasy,
My real life fantasy, oh yeah
You really are my ecstasy,
My real life fantasy, oh yeah
Not that I'm complaining,
A more beautiful vision - I have never seen
If you don't mind me saying,
A life of ambition to fulfill my dream
What have you done to me,
I'll never be the same I'll tell you for sure
I'll never be the same I'll tell you for sure
I'll never be the same I'll tell you for sure
You really are my ecstasy,
My real life fantasy, oh yeah
You really are my ecstasy,
My real life fantasy, oh yeah
You really are my ecstasy,
(There can be no other
While we still have each other)
My real life fantasy, oh yeah
You really are my ecstasy,
(There can be no other
While we still have each other)
My real life fantasy, oh yeah
You really are my ecstasy,
(There can be no other
While we still have each other)
My real life fantasy, oh yeah
Hope you enjoyed the song and found a meaning of your own. Oh and then TUT sends me this!
First, as a child, it seems like the entire world is there for you and you
rush to drink from its every cup, sometimes wondering to yourself how
anything could ever be more fun.
Then, as you grow older, if you're observant, you realize much of what you
enjoy was made possible by the contributions, work, and labor of those who
came before you, and you're taken aback, disappointed even , because with
maturity you can now see cracks in the façades, imperfections in the
details, and 10,000 ways it could have all been done better.
At which point, folks typically choose one of two paths: Spend a lifetime
lamenting how far from perfect things are. Or, to one degree or another,
roll up their sleeves and pitch in.
And should they choose the latter with gusto, dear RobC, they will come to
know, to the core of their sacred being, that the differences they might
make in the world cannot be made by another. And then they will discover the
answer to their often-wondered childhood question.... That the most fun one
can have in time and space comes from making such a difference, and that the
joy derived from serving is 10,000 times that of being served.
Oh, no, RobC. This doesn't mean life becomes all work and no play. It just
means work becomes play, no matter what you do, and play becomes ecstasy.
Gobsmacked only half describes it...

After watching the different facets portrayed in the video, especially André Tanneberger (ATB), they guy at the caravan that seems so at peace with himself, and while reading the lyrics it struck me that this song can be interpreted in many ways... one is the love song and another is a song of praise, it just depends what you are focusing on. At the moment the words have meaning to me in the sense that I have a love affair with my Saviour, He is my Ecstasy, and there can never be another and I'll never be the same again. I am amazed...Have you ever noticed,
That I'm not acting as I used to do before?
Have you ever wondered,
