Chillingly hot

Blogging time has been rather scarce... what with not getting enough sleep (a book on it's own),getting last weekends MX regional up and running and work it has been way down the to-do list... maybe this weekend will allow me to do some updating...
In the meantime it is scorching hot... not abnormal though, it has been much hotter! Something to do with El Nino not Global Warming.
Saturday was one mad rush, as well as being COC, I had to grab a scoresheet for some of the races, without W as assistant COC it would have been chaos... All pics I got was during documentation before racing started.
So here I am, sipping lime juice with lots of ice and wondering what quote would go with "chill" and "summer"... voila!
"The bone-chilling scream split the warm summer night in two, the first half being before the scream when it was fairly balmy and calm and pleasant for those who hadn't heard the scream at all, but not calm or balmy or even very nice for those who did hear the scream, discounting the little period of time during the actual scream itself when your ears might have been hearing it but your brain wasn't reacting yet to let you know."
