Just a short one... this restore job of my mp3's is taking up quite some time and I have to tire out one hyperactive kitten as well if I have any hope of getting any sleep, but it is great having someone greet you after work.
Sometimes I get funny looks when I mention some of the music I like, Placebo is one such group that evokes this reaction... hey! What can I do! I am a Latent Hard Rocker. I love music, period. Sometimes you have to take the lyrics with a pinch of salt although there is a very strong message here, I hope that it gets through to the listener...
Pure Morning - Placebo
A friend in needs a friend indeed,
A friend with weed is better,
A friend with breasts and all the rest,
A friend who's dressed in leather,
A friend in needs a friend indeed,
A friend who'll tease is better ,
Our thoughts compressed,
Which makes us blessed,
And makes for stormy weather,
A friend in needs a friend indeed,
My Japanese is better,
And when she's pressed she will undress,
And then she's boxing clever,
A friend in needs a friend indeed,
A friend who bleeds is better,
My friend confessed she passed the test,
And we will never sever,
Day's dawning, skins crawling [repeat three more times]
Pure morning, [repeat this three more times]
A friend in needs a friend indeed,
A friend who'll tease is better,
Our thoughts compressed,
Which makes us blessed,
And makes for stormy weather,
A friend in needs a friend indeed,
A friend who bleeds is better,
My friend confessed she passed the test,
And we will never sever,
Day's dawning, skins crawling [repeat three more times]
Pure morning,[repeat this three more times]
A friend in needs a friend indeed,
My Japanese is better,
And when she's pressed she will undress,
And then she's boxing clever,
A friend in needs a friend indeed,
A friend with weed is better,
A friend with breast and all the rest,
A friend who's dressed in leather
Coming back to restoration, I notice the work at our main building on campus has begun in earnest again, just a pity the steel fence that has gone up does not suit the architecture at all... As Dr Phill says "What were they thinking!" (pics to follow then judge for yourself-this blog will be updated!)
"To look backward for a while is to refresh the eye, to restore it, and to render it the more fit for its prime function of looking forward."Margaret Fairless Barber
