Lake Afganistan

This is a "progressive" goverment that is deemed to be better than the Taliban? Wanting to execute a man because he does not want to be muslim? Sheeesh... Now people wonder why I thought that turning Afganistan into a lake was a good idea at the time... I am sorry, if this is the world's idea of islamic reform we have no hope but are staring an Apocalyse in the face... these people just do not get the idea of tollerance or human rights... when will the world wake up and realize that?
I love this bit... "Our view … is that tolerance, freedom of worship is an important element of any democracy," State Department spokesman Sean McCormack said. "And these are issues as Afghan democracy matures that they are going to have to deal with increasingly."
Not just your view Sean... it is the view of any frikken human being with a smidgen of common sense!

BTW... tried to drop the Afgan Ministry of Justice a line concerning this and was a tad unsucsessfull, maybe you want to try?
Here was my plea;
"I just wish to express my utter dismay at the proceedings surrounding the Abdul Rahman apostasy case. To my mind as a freedom loving South African there is no place in a modern society for this type of medieval thinking. I have lost all respect for the Goverment of Afganistan... You have not changed for the better." They are not listening...

Hat Tip to the Uber Kuffar Patrick and likewise to the Rottweiler of Truth for having similar thoughts on the radiation levels in Afganistan.
The Queenofpeace also had someting to say about this;
"How can we congratulate ourselves for liberating Afghanistan from the rule of jihadists only to be ruled by Islamists who kill Christians? Such a "trial" is a flagrant violation of Article 18 of the UN's Universal Declaration of Human Rights--which the current Afghan government even incorporated into its constitution. Article 18 reads: "Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance."
President Bush should immediately send Vice President Cheney or Secretary Rice to Kabul to read Hamid Kharzai's government the riot act. Americans will not give their blood and treasure to prop up new Islamic fundamentalist regimes. Democracy is more than purple thumbs."

Amen Sista!
Now just put a frikken button on your site to turn off the midi sound... Sheeesh... Oh by the way... there is no diffrence between jihadists and islamists... they read the same satanic manual...
