I just want to say to all those trying to lose weight out there... "caveat emptor". By the way Google gives this when you type "Hoodia" - Results 1 - 10 of about 14,900,000 for hoodia. (0.15 seconds)... 14 Million references! Go figure... More hits than "Failure"...
As this plant is not as plentifull as one would imagine from all the sites selling it one has to conclude that there is some "substitution" going on. If the amount being sold on the web could be multiplied by a factor of 1 then there should not be any live specimens any more! I for one know that there are no truckloads full being shipped fromm the Kalahari desert so this is an awefull scam being perpetrated on the unsuspecting public.
Update: Some interesting info here that supports my theory...Feature articles on hoodia.
"The argument that making contraceptives available to young people would prevent teen pregnancies is ridiculous. That's like offering a cookbook as a cure to people who are trying to lose weight." Jerry Falwell (1933 - )
