Waking wounded

Woke up at 10 today, had to go and unlock the track gate... I dont think I will forget last night/this morning easily... how many Submarines did I have, and where did I put the keys... waking wounded is the best description. Just glad I survived! But we had a lot of fun all the same and it was great to be out after a few weeks of stress. We sure got the band doing their thing as well, Paint It Black will never be the same again after doing that crazy dance with D, we had all the folk checking out the moves!
Not much on TV tonight and I want to get some sleep in to catch up with what I lost this weekend. Talking of sleep... here are the lyrics for the day...
TALKING IN YOUR SLEEP - The Romantics
When you close your eyes and go to sleep
And it's down to the sound of a heartbeat
I can hear the things that you're dreaming about
When you open up your heart and the truth comes out

You tell me that yo want me
You tell me that you need me
You tell me that you love me
And I know that I'm right
Cuz I hear it in the night

I hear the secrets that you keep
When you're talking in your sleep

When I hold you in my arms at night
Don't you know you're
Sleeping in the spotlight
And all of your dreams
That you keep inside
You're tellin me the secrets
That you just can't hide

When you close your eyes
And you fall asleep
Everything about you is a mystery
Now let me go and turn around three times myself...

"A boy can learn a lot from a dog: obedience, loyalty, and the importance of turning around three times before lying down." Robert Benchley (1889 - 1945)
